Back to School Snack Drive and Fun

Help welcome the students, families, teacher, and staff back to the new school year!  In addition to the Snack Drive we’re also going to have some opportunities to extend the love of Christ:

• August 8 at 7:30 a.m. – Good Morning Greeters welcoming children and parents back to school with signs, smiles, and waves!
• August 11 at 10:00 a.m. – Sunday worship with blessing of the backpacks

Back to School Snack Drive

Last year Peace Lutheran Church and the Cedar Bluff Community collected so many breakfast snacks for the kids at Cedar Bluff Elementary School. It brings to mind the feeding of the 5,000. With school beginning in August we will once again host a Back to School Snack Drive!

What’s needed: Individually wrapped items such as: pop tarts, gold fish, cereal bars, cheez-its, etc. Snacks need to be shelf stable, free of nuts, and edible without a spoon.

Snacks can be dropped off beginning Sunday July 28 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and during office hours (Tuesday – Thursday 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) There will be a special drop off table for the first full week of school (August 12-16) which will be available from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Financial gifts can be made online (give online). Select “Special Giving” and then in the memo line write “Snack Drive.”
