Our Christian Education Ministry is formed by the sense of being called to follow Jesus; to learn his ways. We study the Bible because we believe it is the Word of God. Martin Luther said, “The Bible is the manger that holds the Christ.” Lori Burnett is the leader of this committee.

Sunday Morning at 9:00 a.m.
Children’s Sunday School
- Begins with all of our kids, Pre-K through 5th grade having fun and connecting. Then we’ll break into groups based on reading level to do some age appropriate learning about the Bible story that is read in Sunday worship. New friends are always welcome. These classes are led by Ms. Anne, Ms. Lori, and our fantastic guest teachers. Meet in classroom 2 and 4 in the education hallway beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Pastor’s Class: How to read and use your Bible.
- Lutherans revere the Bible because Christ actually speaks to us when we open it and read it. In this adult Sunday School class, Pr. Stephen and Butch Henderson, are going to guide us in the basics of using the Bible. In this class you’ll get to know the parts of your Bible, become more fluid in finding the Psalms and Gospels, and you’ll be less intimidated to open the Word of God. Join us on Sundays, every question is welcome and no experience necessary. Please bring your Bible from home if you have one. Meet in classroom 10 beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Wednesday Bible Study 10:00 a.m.
- Gather with friends from church to look ahead to the upcoming Sunday’s Gospel reading. Conversation and reflections led by Pr. Stephen. Meets on Zoom. Contact the church office to receive the link.

Peace Family Faith at Home
- Faith resource to connect you with Jesus and your Peace Family throughout the week. The Bible verse, prayer, and hymn all tie in to Sunday worship. Put on your fridge, table, or sacred space.

- Quarterly devotion booklet written by ELCA pastors across the country. Opens with a scripture verse for the day, a reflective thought, a closing prayer, and an invitation to continued reflection with prayer and additional scripture.
