Last week we finished up with our readings from Job. We had spent a number of weeks walking through a Biblical story that is one of the foundational story of the Bible. Job and God seemingly at odds, one of the traditional interpretations, which gives way to the notion that the story of Job is meant to answer the question “why do bad things happen to good people?” The way we looked at the story though was through the lens asking the question, “what do good people do when bad things happen?” What we learned is that good people, faithful people, like Job, talk to God.  They pray.
