Reading through the Bible, it is clear that God has always been the one that reaches out to us. The very heart of the Biblical witness is that God loves his creation, so much so that God came down to earth to be a part of that creation. This is the ultimate sign of love, that God would take on human form, walk in the human condition, live and die among the creation, crossing any separations, but the perceived and the real. God came to this world to serve all of us, to be our great healer.
