There seems to be something unique about stillness and knowing our heavenly Father, otherwise, why would the chaos of each day be such a drain on who we are as people. I can think of very few people who I know who love chaos in life. When I read in the Bible in 1st Kings, and Elijah is seeking after God running from the threats upon his life, he learns that God is not found in the great wind, nor in earthquake nor the fire, but Elijah stands in the sheer silence and there he finds God.
