Do you ever think of faith in terms of the present moment? What is God calling you to be? And then what is God calling you to do? These are the questions of the present. True, answering these questions of the present give way to the future and they are informed by the past, but they require us to listen to the “still small voice” in the present. The challenge for us, and for our church, is to dwell in God in the present moment. And not to major in the minors. Not to let this world pull us from God. But instead, We seek the kingdom and God will add other things.
