This past week I wrote a blog where I wondered about the event of this past week. Where can any of us find trust. I particularly did not mention the election, because I didn’t feel it was appropriate, but most of those who responded did. I think the only way forward in life for any of us is to be honest and speak when we have trust issues. For trust is not faith. Just because I can’t see what God is up to and it I struggle with that, don’t mean my faith is not strong. Nor does it mean your faith is not strong. When confronted by the risen Jesus, his own disciples said that they had both belief and unbelief. I feel better today than I did when I wrote my blog, because I know that I know that I know that God didn’t have a problem trusting me. Human trust is far too fragile a thing, but God’s trust never fails.
