Do you ever in your life think about all the different authorities you answer to. I suspect if you ever have, you likely came up with a long list in various spheres of your life that in some way or another have authority over you. At home, at work, in the community, in the many and various organizations you may belong to; in all of these, there is likely someone to whom you answer. It seems to me that people naturally order life with a sense of structure that provides authority.
