God gave to Solomon the wisdom of discernment; to know what is right and to know that is wrong. As creations of the God of compassion, we too receive the gift of wisdom. This gift leads us to do what is right in God’s eyes. To show compassion to others. Mercy to the foreigner. Love to the stranger.
