In church circles, there is an old expression that goes like this. Work as if everything depends on you and pray as if everything depends on God. If I’ve heard that phrase once, I’ve heard it a hundred times. There seem to be times in our church life when we fall under the impression, mistakenly, that everything does not depend upon God all the time.
